The basis of this collection consists of many wild west inspirations. I started off with classic Wild West clothing elements such as dusters, fringe, Western shirts, ponchos, and denim jeans. My inspiration was then broadened to more modern Western Americana staples such as jean jackets and Nudie Cohn suits. This collection also included contemporary fashion takes on the Wild West aesthetic such as Rose Cut Clothing.

 

In terms of imagery and color scheme, I also drew on many of Georgia O'Keefe's New Mexico paintings which focused on skulls and the New Mexican landscape. The mood of the collection was reflected by relaxed silhouettes that one could wear while enjoying life on the ranch.
